The Literary Platform launches this informal networking event, designed to offer affordable practical advice and take-away information for published and self-published writers, as well as small and medium-sized publishers, looking to find out more about digital publishing, social media and developing online reader audiences. Words of Colour Productions will be among a range of industry experts offering one to one advice, masterclasses and breakout sessions. We will be having panel debates and Q&As on Teenage Publishing in the Social age, Race and Class in Publishing: Will the digital revolution break down cultural barriers? with Nii Parkes and Courttia Newland and Digital Publishing and the Writers Identity will be discussed by literary agent Susan Yearwood and Kerry Young (Pao). Rosemarie Hudson, founder of e-publisher HopeRoad Publishing, will be at our stall for one to ones on how best to use this platform.
