Maggie Harris at the Poetry Cafe

Award winning Guyanese born poet and writer Maggie Harris will be showcasing her poetry at Fourth Friday at the Poetry Café. The winner of the Guyana Prize for Literature is co-editor of Sixty Poems for Haiti and is the author of Kiskadee Girl, her memoir about growing up in the Caribbean diaspora. Her forthcoming books include poetry (Sixty Years of Loving) to be published by Cane Arrow Press, and fiction (In Margate by Lunchtime), which is due out in the spring 2014.
