Peepal Tree Press are looking for Black British Writers for their anthology ‘CLOSURE’ a new anthology of contemporary Black British fiction. Internationally renowned and award-winning novelist and short story writer Jacob Ross will edit this new anthology with the theme of closure. Closure is open to submissions from Black British writers. If you are a writer ‘of colour’ born, raised, living, or have lived in Britain and ‘self identify’ as Black British, your work is eligible. Stories must be a minimum of1500 words and a maximum of 4,000 words. Any style of fiction (no memoir or poetry) is acceptable. Writers of any age or gender can submit work but the work must be new, previously unpublished fiction. Only 30 stories will be included in the final publication.
Deadline: 31 July 2013
Submission: Only send one copy. In the subject line put the word ‘Closure’ and include the title of your story and your name. Don’t use headers or footers in the text.
